Cristóbal de la Maza concentrates his practice in Corporate Law and M&A, advising several companies in commercial matters and complex construction contracts.

He has also advised companies on compliance matters, especially in the context of Act No. 20.393, which establishes the criminal liability of legal entities.

  • Colegium SpA: On March 1, 2022, Colegium SpA and Incremental SpA signed the contract for the sale of assets and accompanying documents, by which Colegium SpA acquired the main assets of Incremental SpA. With this, Colegium adds Radar Escolar platform to its services, strengthening even more its position as a provider of digital services to educational institutions.
  • American Tower Corporation: Advised the client in the acquisition of Telxius Towers Latam Division, through the execution of a Share Purchase Agreement entered between American Tower International, Inc. and Telxius Telecom, S.A. over 100% of the share capital of Telxius Torres Latam, S.L.U. Telxius Towers Latam Division has a vast portfolio of cellular wireless telecommunication towers in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru. (US$ 1.1 billion). This deal was awarded as 2021 LatAm Deal of the Year by TTR (Transactional Track Record).
  • Colegium SpA.: Asset acquisition contract by which Colegium SpA purchased the assets, brands and clients of GoSchool S.A., expanding its business in Argentina and Latin America. DLA Piper Chile, in collaboration with DLA Piper Argentina, advised the buyer throughout the process.
  • American Tower Corporation: Advise client on the purchased of 30,722 telecommunication towers from Telefónica Group in Europe (Germany and Spain) and Latin America (Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru).
  • Colektia: Advised the client in the closing of a Series A Preferred Stock financing round, for a value of USD $4,200,000.
  • Instacrops: We advised the client in the investment of US$2,000,000 through a capital increase and the issuance of Series A Preferred Shares of Agronet SpA. These shares were paid with the conversion of instruments against the company, and with cash.
